The Switch Enterprise 8 PoE (USW Enterprise 8 PoE) is a fully managed, Layer 3* switch with (8) 2.5GbE, 802.3at PoE+ RJ45 ports and (2) 10G SFP+ ports.The USW Enterprise 8 PoE also features a 1.3" LCM color touchscreen that concisely displays key system and connection insights. Layer 3

The switch supports standard Layer 2 management functions like other UniFi devices. In addition, it also supports Layer 3 management, including L3 Routing and Inter-VLAN.

8x 2.5G Ethernet and 2x SFP+

The device has been equipped with 8 2.5G Ethernet ports and 2 SFP + slots. It is perfect for creating a small network with a capacity of 2.5 Gb/s, which you can make over existing Ethernet cabling. Ports support auto-negotiation: 1/2.5 Gbps. Thanks to this, older devices without 2.5GE support can also be connected to the switch. An additional advantage is the small size of the USW-Enterprise-8-PoE - it has a desktop housing with dimensions of 20 x 24.8 cm. This is an advantage when installing in a home or small office - you do not need to use a rack.

SFP+ slots can operate with a bandwidth of 1 or 10 Gb/s. They will prove themselves as the main Internet connection to a switch, thanks to the use of two ports, you can receive a 10G signal through one port, and send it further to another location with the other. The SFP+ slot can also be used to connect sensitive devices, e.g. a server.

8x PoE OUT, IEEE 802.3af/at standard

Each Ethernet port has a PoE power output in the IEEE 802.3af or IEEE 802.3at standard (so-called PoE +). The power budget is 120 W, and the maximum power per port is 32 W. It is more than enough to connect several efficient access points. The universal PoE standard also allows you to connect, if necessary, other devices, e.g. cameras or VoIP phones. The voltage range in the af mode is 44 - 57 V DC, and in the at mode 50 - 57 V DC.

Built-in AC power supply

The switch has a built-in 150 W AC power supply. 120 W has been reserved for PoE power supply, the device itself does not consume much power. A passive cooling system was used, USW-Enterprise-8-PoE works noiselessly. The housing is made of polycarbonate, it can be mounted on a wall or placed on a desk (desktop type).
