MikroTik FiberBox Plus is a switch equipped with 4 SFP + slots (10 Gb/s) and 1 gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mb/s). It has a housing suitable for outdoor use, it is distinguished by a high ingress protection - IP66. The device can be mounted on a pole using the brackets included in the set. The switch has a processor clocked at 800 MHz, made in the ARM 32 bit architecture and 256 MB of RAM. The device supports the dual boot option - you can choose RouterOS (Level 5 license) or SwitchOS.

The offered product is distinguished by the use of up to 3 power inputs. You can use PoE in the IEEE 802.3af/at standard (on the Ethernet port), use the DC jack (voltage 24 - 57 V DC) or the 2-pin DC terminal. An additional advantage is the support for telecommunications voltage -48 V DC. With multiple power supply options, you'll always find the right option for your location.

The switch has been equipped with 4 SFP+ slots (10 Gb/s) and an additional gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mb/s). Despite its small size, it provides a very large switching capacity, and will prove itself in the most demanding locations.

Weatherproof (IP66)

The casing has been fully adapted to be used outside buildings, it is characterized by the degree of protection IP66. With the help of the included accessories, you can mount the device on a pole, it can withstand even harsh weather conditions. FiberBox Plus will also work in difficult installations inside buildings, e.g. in an attic or in a elevator shaft - in addition to water resistance, it is also protected against the ingress of dust.

3 power inputs

FiberBox Plus has as many as 3 power inputs, each user will find the right solution for himself. The device supports PoE input on the Ethernet port, in the IEEE 802.3af/at standard (42 - 57 V DC). You can also connect the power via a standard DC socket or a 2-pin terminal, in both cases the voltage is 24 - 57 V DC. The maximum power consumption of the switch is 17 W (the device itself is 7 W, the rest is the power budget for powering the inserts).

Dual boot

The device has two operating systems RouterOS with a license level 5 and SwitchOS. Depending on your needs, you can choose one of the systems. SwitchOS will work if you need Layer 2 management, while RouterOS will allow you to use more advanced settings.

Multiple uses

FiberBox Plus will prove itself in many applications when installed outdoors. The use of four SFP+ slots ensures very high performance, you can create up to 4 connections with a bandwidth of 10 Gb/s.
