IP-COM W36AP is an access point adapted to work in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously. It has been adapted for wall mounting, has two gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s), one on the wall side, the other on the outside, for use by the user. Supports Wi-Fi 5, supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical bandwidth of the wireless network is 1200 Mb/s - 300 Mb/s in 2.4 GHz and 867 Mb/s in 5 GHz. You can power the device via PoE, in accordance with the IEEE 802.3af standard. The W36AP can be managed using an IP-COM AC controller to which you can connect multiple access points. Thanks to this, it is ideally suited to hotels and guesthouses, enables the creation of an extensive, efficient network and additionally offers a gigabit Ethernet port for cable connection of the most important devices. It can also be successfully used in the office or even large houses.
In-wall access point
The device has been adapted for wall mounting, in a manner similar to an ordinary electrical outlet. It combines the ability to transmit a wireless Wi-Fi network and a gigabit Ethernet port. The user can connect the most important devices with a cable, which will work in large homes or offices. In this type of networks, the W36AP serves as both a network socket and an access point.
Dimensions 86 x 86 mm, easy assembly
The offered product can be mounted on an electrical box with dimensions of 86 x 86 mm. The assembly itself is very simple, the rear part of the device should be screwed with two screws, and then the front panel should be mounted. Previously installed Ethernet cables are connected directly to the W36AP using the ports located on the back of the housing.
MU-MIMO standard
W36AP supports MU-MIMO technology, which allows you to simultaneously transmit and receive data from many users. This prevents the phenomenon of data queuing - in ordinary routers / access points, data is received and sent to each client device in turn, which significantly reduces Wi-Fi performance when there are many users.
Built-in 4 dBi antennas
The access point has built-in omnidirectional antennas that are responsible for wireless transmission. They are characterized by an energy gain of 4 dBi.
Wireless network Wi-Fi 5 AC1200
IP-COM W36AP can transmit a Wi-Fi wireless network in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously. It uses IEEE 802.11 b/g/n in 2.4 GHz and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac in 5 GHz. The maximum theoretical Wi-Fi throughput is 1200 Mb/s - 300 Mb/s in 2.4 GHz and 867 Mb/s in 5 GHz. This speed is completely sufficient to use Internet resources, including online gaming.
Spectrum navigation (5 GHz priority)
The device analyzes the frequency and switches users between the two bands. 5 GHz transmission is prioritized, but in case of too much load or weak signal, client devices are automatically switched to the 2.4 GHz band.
Range optimization
W36AP has an independent chip that is used to separate interference caused by electromagnetic waves. This allows the access point to cope well with interference that may be caused by other networks in the vicinity.
PoE power input
The offered product has a PoE power input, in accordance with IEEE 802.3 af/at standards. It works best in combination with a PoE switch. This power supply method means that only one Ethernet cable is needed for each access point. This greatly simplifies network installation in motels, hotels and offices.
IMS platform
IP-COM W36AP has been adapted to be managed from the level of the IMS platform. This tool allows you to configure multiple devices simultaneously from one panel. It will be perfect for large networks, where logging in to each access point separately would significantly prolong the introduction of any changes. The platform is also available in the cloud.
