MikroTik L009UiGS-RM is the successor to the very popular 2011UiAS-IN / 2011UiAS-RM. The device is equipped with a dual-core ARM processor clocked at 800 MHz and 512 MB of RAM. It provides four times the performance of its predecessor, which had a single-core 600 MHz processor and only 128 MB of RAM. The L900UiGS-RM has only 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s) and 1 SFP slot (1 Gb/s with 2.5 Gb/s support). On the first Ethernet port there is a PoE power input (voltage 24 - 56 V DC), and on the last one there is an output (voltage depends on the input). You can use the PoE output only when the router is powered by a DC socket. The whole is complemented by one USB 3.0 port, which further expands the capabilities of the device.
Powerful ARM processor, RouterOS Level 5
The device is equipped with a dual-core IPQ-5018 processor clocked at 800 MHz and 512 MB of RAM. It provides enough performance for home or small office use. The RouterOS system with a Level 5 license is responsible for the work, so you can enjoy full configuration options.
The successor of the popular RB2011UiAS
RB2011UiAS in IN and RM versions is a device that has been very popular among users for years. L009UiGS-RM is its direct successor, it refers to its predecessor, among others. colors used and the front of the housing. It is distinguished by a much more efficient processor and four times more RAM, resulting in a significant increase in throughput. It has two less Ethernet ports (RB2011UiAS had 10 ports), but they all use 10/100/1000 Mbps (Gigabit Ethernet).
8 gigabit Ethernet ports, 1 SFP slot, 1 USB 3.0 port
The offered product is equipped with 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports 10/100/1000 Mb/s and 1 SFP slot. SFP also supports 2.5 Gbps throughput, higher than standard inserts.
The USB 3.0 port further expands the capabilities of the router. You can use it to connect an external device (e.g. Pi-hole adblock), external memory or LTE modem.
PoE input and output, two ways of power supply
The first Ethernet port has a PoE power input and the last one has an output. The device supports passive PoE or the 802.3 af standard at the input. You can also use a standard DC socket for power supply, the voltage range is 24-56 V DC.
The PoE output can only be used when the router is connected via a DC jack. The maximum PoE output power is 1 A at 24 - 30 V DC or 450 mA at 30 - 56 V DC.
Universal housing
The housing of the router is characterized by small dimensions, as in the case of RB2011UiAS-IN. At the same time, the set includes a special bracket that allows mounting in a 19" Rack cabinet. What's more, using this bracket you can mount up to 4 devices at the same time, the total height is 1U.
Metal elements are used to dissipate heat, the entire housing acts as one large heat sink. Thanks to this, cooling is very effective and components are protected against overheating, even under heavy load.
