The UniFi 6+ is a wireless access point from Ubiquiti that operates on the Wi-Fi 6 standard. This is a dual-band device, capable of simultaneously transmitting wireless networks on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. It incorporates 4x4 MIMO technology, enabling it to achieve very high throughput, theoretically up to 574 Mb/s in the 2.4 GHz band and up to 2402 Mb/s in the 5 GHz band. This access point is designed for indoor installation, and it comes with brackets for wall or ceiling mounting. It is equipped with four built-in antennas: 2 for the 2.4 GHz band (with a 3 dBi gain) and 2 for the 5 GHz band (with a 5.4 dBi gain).

The offered product utilizes MU-MIMO technology, allowing it to simultaneously transmit and receive data to and from up to 4 connected devices without the need for queuing transmissions. So, if there are 4 clients connected to the access point, each of them communicates individually, using a 1x1 connection. The U6+ is powered via PoE+ (Power over Ethernet Plus) in accordance with the 802.3at standard.

The UniFi software allows for centralized management of multiple connected access points, making it possible to configure and manage wireless networks. Furthermore, it is user-friendly and intuitive, requiring no special training. The system automatically detects the connection of new devices and offers a wide range of management features and security options. With UniFi, you can create a network consisting of multiple access points that cover extensive areas, such as hotels, halls, schools, or large businesses. Thanks to its high performance, the product offered can also be used in various other solutions, including home environments.

The device requires a controller version 7.3.76 or newer (currently not supported on UCK gen1).

UniFi network

The offered product operates under the control of UniFi software. UniFi enables centralized management of multiple devices from a single application. It is primarily designed for building complex hotspot networks consisting of access points, but it also supports monitoring systems in the "Protect" series. With UniFi, you can establish an extensive network and then control it from one system. This allows for quick configuration changes, hotspot settings, or firmware updates. The UniFi application is completely free and can be downloaded for your computer or as a mobile app.

Wi-Fi 6 wireless network

The U6+ utilizes the Wi-Fi 6 standard and can simultaneously transmit networks on both the 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz bands. It supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical transmission throughput is 573.5 Mb/s in the 2.4 GHz band and 2402 Mb/s in the 5 GHz band. This speed is more than sufficient for most applications, even when multiple users are connected to the access point.

Gigabit Ethernet port, PoE input

The device is equipped with one Gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mb/s) that also serves as a PoE power input. The recommended input voltage is 44 - 57 V DC, and the access point supports the 802.3af/at standards. The maximum power consumption is 9 W. Please note that a power adapter is not included in the package and needs to be purchased separately.

Small dimensions, 3 / 5,4 dBi antennas, WPA3 encryption

The access point stands out with its compact size, measuring only 160 mm in diameter (the Pro version has a diameter of 197 mm, and the Enterprise/Long Range version is 220 mm). Ceiling / wall mounting

The package includes a mounting plate that allows you to mount the device on a wall or ceiling. An ideal mounting location is a drop ceiling, but the package also includes mounting anchors that can be used on various surfaces. In the lower part of the casing, there is a cable pass-through for cable management, which means the cable doesn't have to protrude directly from the wall; you can route it through conduit or channels.

Up to 300 clients concurrently

The Ubiquiti U6+ is capable of serving up to 300 clients simultaneously. It is well-suited for expansive corporate networks, restaurants, hotels, and conference rooms. The ability to connect multiple such devices within a single network allows for scalable solutions without limitations.
