MikroTik CME22-2n-BG77 is a gateway equipped with a CAT-M/NB modem. This type of transmission is perfect for various IoT solutions, known for its extensive coverage and low power consumption. It utilizes low bandwidth, making it unsuitable for internet use. You can utilize the CME, for instance, to collect data from sensors that do not support remote transmission. The device also features a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi radio with support for 802.11 b/g/n protocols, enabling connection to the MikroTik application available on mobile devices.
The offered product is enclosed in an IP65-rated housing designed for outdoor use. Power can be supplied using PoE input (18 - 57 V DC) or a 2-pin terminal (12 - 57 V DC). The maximum power consumption of the device itself is only 6 W. An additional advantage is the built-in GNSS modem (supporting GPS, BeiDou, Galileo, Glonass).
CAT M / Narrow Band transmission, GNSS
The device serves as a gateway, supporting CAT M and CAT NB (Narrow Band) transmissions. You can find the full list of supported bands and frequencies in the specifications, below the description. Both technologies are characterized by a wide transmission range due to the use of low bandwidth and the application of narrow channels. This type of connection is well-suited for telemetry applications, connecting various sensors and measuring devices.
An additional advantage is the support for GNSS standards - BeiDou, Galileo, GPS, and Glonass. You can attach location information of the device to the transmitted data.
Sealed enclosure, additional Wi-Fi interface
The offered product comes with an enclosure designed for outdoor use, boasting an IP65 protection rating. You can mount it, for example, on a pole near a photovoltaic panel.
Additionally, the device has been equipped with a wireless Wi-Fi interface. It supports the 2.4 GHz band and SISO (single-chain), enabling remote management through the MikroTik application available on mobile devices.
Two power inputs, PoE outputs
CME Gateway is equipped with 2 fast Ethernet ports (10/100 Mbps). Power can be supplied using a DC input (2-pin) or PoE input (passive or 802.3af/at). The voltage range is 18 - 57 V DC for PoE and 12 - 57 V DC for DC input. The maximum power consumption of the device itself is only 6 W. This enables you to power the CME using a small photovoltaic installation.
An additional advantage is the PoE output on port Ether2. The output voltage depends on the input voltage, with a current of 600 mA for voltage < 30 V and 450 mA for voltage > 30 V. You can connect another device to it.
Ideal solution for telemetric
The offered product is perfect for various telemetry applications. You can connect different types of sensors/meters to it and transmit data wirelessly. The CME Gateway is offered at an attractive price, without significantly raising the costs of the entire installation.
Thanks to the use of various power supply options, low power consumption, and a sealed enclosure, the device is suitable for many locations. With its increased degree of protection, you don't have to worry about production halls with high levels of dust.
