Description

The Ubiquiti UISP-FIBER-XGS is an Optical Network Terminal (ONT) designed for XGS-PON networks. It features an SC/APC optical port with symmetrical throughput of 10 Gb/s, both for downloading and uploading data. The device is equipped with a 10G Ethernet port supporting automatic speed negotiation and handling speeds of 100 / 1000 / 2500 / 5000 / 10000 Mb/s. Powering the device can be done through the USB-C port, and a suitable power adapter is included in the package. It's important to note that UISP Fiber XGS is compatible exclusively with Ubiquiti OLT terminals and does not support other manufacturers.

XGS-PON ONT terminal

The device is designed to operate as a client terminal (ONT/ONU) in an XGS-PON network. It is equipped with an SC/APC port, supporting symmetrical throughput of 10 Gb/s for both downloading and uploading data. The optical TX power range is 4 ~ 9 dBm, and the reception sensitivity range is -9 ~ -27 dBm. The device is versatile and can be used in various applications. It functions as a typical bridge-type terminal, allowing you to connect any router that meets the subscriber's requirements. It's important to note that the device works exclusively with Ubiquiti OLT terminals and does not support solutions from other manufacturers.

10G Ethernet port

The terminal features a 10G Ethernet port that supports throughput speeds of 100 / 1000 / 2500 / 5000 / 10000 Mb/s. This high-speed interface allows for the delivery of large data packages to subscribers, ensuring efficient and fast data transmission. The versatility of the port supports various speed options, accommodating the diverse requirements of different applications and services for end-users.

USB-C power input

The device can be powered using the USB-C port, and a suitable power adapter is included in the package. The maximum power consumption is 8 W. This USB-C power option provides flexibility in powering the device and may be particularly convenient in scenarios where USB-C power sources are readily available.
