GPON / XG(S)-PON WDM filter

The Ubiquiti UACC-UF-WDM-XGS is a Wavelength Division Multiplexing (WDM) filter designed to connect signals from GPON and either XG-PON or XGS-PON networks. With this product, you can conduct two different transmissions using only one optical fiber. The signal is then separated in the usual manner, typically with the use of optical splitters.

It is recommended to install the filter in a Rack cabinet where both OLT terminals are housed, and connect the main cable to it. Then, at the subscriber's location, you can connect the ONT terminal using either GPON or XG-PON / XGS-PON technology. The client terminal will connect using the appropriate technology. This allows for efficient utilization of optical fiber resources and provides flexibility in accommodating different PON technologies.

Up to 8 PON ports

The product is equipped with 8 COM (output) ports, 8 GPON ports for connecting signals from GPON OLT terminals, and 8 XGS/XG-PON ports for connecting signals from XG-PON or XGS-PON OLT terminals. Each port features an SC/UPC connector. This configuration allows for the management and connection of signals from both GPON and XG-PON/XGS-PON networks, providing flexibility and compatibility with different optical line terminal technologies.

The enclosure is designed for mounting in a 19" Rack cabinet, with a height of 1U. By using the UACC-UF-WDM-XGS, you can interconnect the transmission from a maximum of 8 PON ports. This allows for efficient and compact management of multiple PON connections in a rack-mounted setup, providing a streamlined solution for network deployment and optimization.
