Description

Huawei EG8145X6 is an intelligent Wi-Fi 6 routing-type Optical Network Terminal (ONT) that uses Gigabit Passive Optical Network (GPON) technology to offer ultra-broadband access, high performance, and wide coverage for users. With high forwarding performance — ensuring an exceptional experience for voice, data, and High Definition (HD) video services — as well as future-oriented service support capabilities and visualized network management, EG8145X6 helps enterprises construct powerful all-optical access solutions.

The device features four GE ports, one POTS port, and one USB port, and 2.4G and 5G Wi-Fi connectivity.

The offered product has an SC/APC WAN port. It can be used in the GPON network as a client terminal. It has a class B+ laser, the sensitivity of receiving the transmission is -27 dBm. The ONT supports the G.984.5 standard, the transmission wavelength is 1310nm (upstream) and 1490nm (downstream).

EG8145X6 supports the modern standard of wireless transmission - Wi-Fi 6. The network is broadcast in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously, the device uses the protocols IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax (2.4 GHz) and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax (5 GHz). The maximum theoretical transmission throughput is 547 Mb/s in 2.4 GHz and 2402 Mb/s in 5 GHz.

The ONT terminal supports 2x2 MIMO, MU-MIMO (simultaneous transmitting and receiving data from multiple client devices) and Beamforming. An additional advantage is WPA3 - the latest data encryption standard that secures wireless transmission. Two external omnidirectional antennas are responsible for broadcasting the network, both of them have an gain of 5 dBi.

4x gigabit Ethernet, 1x RJ11, 1x USB 2.0

The device has been equipped with 4 gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s), which ensure high connection bandwidth. Key devices such as a console or a PC should be connected directly to the ONT with a cable. The RJ11 port allows you to connect a landline phone and provide VoIP telephony to customers. Using USB 2.0 you can create an FTP network storage or a SAMBA server.
