Ubiquiti UDR (Dream Router) is an "all-in-one" solution designed for use in the UniFi network. It combines the functionality of a wireless router, UniFi / UniFi Protect / UniFi Access / UniFi Talk controller and an net video recorder. It can work wirelessly in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands at the same time, supports the Wi-Fi 6 standard - protocols IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ ax in 2.4 GHz and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in 5 GHz. The maximum theoretical bandwidth of the wireless network is 3000 Mb/s - 574 Mb/s in 2.4 GHz and 2402 Mb/s in 5 GHz. The device is equipped with 5 gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s), one of which can work as WAN and the rest as LAN. In addition, the last two ports have a PoE power output that you can use to power the camera, access point or VoIP phone.
The offered product has an efficient, dual-core Cortex A53 processor clocked at 1.35 GHz and 128 GB of built-in memory. You can use the memory, among other things, to record video files, if you use the IP recorder function. Additionally, the UDR has a microSD slot - you can even increase your file space! Ubiquiti UDR is the perfect solution for single-family houses, which will serve as the heart of the UniFi network. Thanks to its wide range of applications, it can be used together with access points, cameras or even VoIP phones.
UniFi Network
The offered product works under the control of UniFi software. UniFi enables centralized management of multiple devices from one application. It was designed mainly for building a network of hotspots consisting of access points, but also supports monitoring systems - the "Protect" series. With UniFi, you can build in a large network and then control it from one system. Thanks to this, every change of configuration, hotspot settings or firmware update is instant. The UniFi application is completely free, you can download it to your computer or as an application for mobile devices.
Multifunctional device
Ubiquiti UDR acts as a wireless router, UniFi network controller and net video recorder. Each of these functions can run simultaneously, you are not limited to choosing one. Thanks to this, UDR is a universal solution, it can be used in many UniFi networks. It will work best in homes and small businesses, where this type of solution will replace a router, switch and access point.
Wi-Fi AX3000
The device can transmit a Wi-Fi wireless network in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously. It supports the Wi-Fi 6 standard - IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols at 2.4 GHz and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax at 5 GHz. The maximum theoretical throughput of such transmission is 3000 Mb/s - 574 Mb/s in 2.4 GHz and 2402 Mb/s in 5 GHz. UDR is equipped with built-in omnidirectional antennas, supports 4x4 MIMO in both bands. The gain is 3.4 dBI at 2.4 GHz and 4.3 dBi at 5 GHz.
5x gigabit Ethernet, 2x PoE Output
The UDR is equipped with 5 Gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s), including 1 WAN port and 4 LAN ports. In addition, the last two ports have a PoE output, you can power other devices, e.g. access point or IP camera. Thanks to this, UDR will be perfect especially in smaller locations, e.g. private homes. In this application, the offered product can replace the switch and controller, which will save money.
128 GB built-in memory, microSD slot
The offered product has 128 GB of built-in memory, you can use it to save recordings, if you use the net video recorder functionality. An additional slot will allow you to mount a microSD card with a minimum capacity of 128 GB. Thus, you can get a very large capacity which will allow you to record multiple video files.
