Description

The Huawei OptiXstar EG8147X6 is an intelligent GPON and Wi-Fi 6 routing-type ONT. It uses the GPON Wi-Fi 6 technology to implement ultra-broadband access, high performance and wide coverage for users. The high forwarding performance ensures the user experience of voice, data and HD video services, and provides customers with an ideal all-optical access solution and future-oriented service support capability.

It provides 4 GE ports, 1 POTS port, 1CATV port, 1 USB port and 1 2.4G&5G Wi-Fi port.

The EG8147X6 can be used as a client terminal (ONT) in the GPON network. It is equipped with a standard SC/APC class B+ optical connector. The range of power that the device can receive is -27 ~ -29 dBm. Supports standard wavelengths of 1490 nm / 1310 nm.

Wi-Fi 6 (AX3000) wireless network

The EG8147X6 terminal can transmit Wi-Fi 6 wireless network in the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands simultaneously. Supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax (2.4 GHz) and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax (5 GHz) protocols. In both bands, it uses 2x2 MIMO, the maximum theoretical throughput is 3000 Mb/s - 574 Mb/s in 2.4 GHz and 2402 Mb/s in 5 GHz. Such a speed allows for comfortable use of Internet resources, it will also allow you to download large files, watch high-resolution online movies or stream data. Along with the Wi-Fi 6 standard, ONT supports additional, useful functions - MU-MIMO (simultaneous receiving and transmitting data to multiple clients), Beamforming and modern WPA3 encryption.

4 gigabit Ethernet ports, 1 POTS port, 1 USB port

The offered product has 4 LAN gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps). The RJ11 (POTS) port has the ability to connect a landline phone, so you can provide the subscriber with the VoIP service. The additional USB 2.0 port can be used to share multimedia, create an FTP drive or print server.

CATV

The ONT is equipped with an RF connector, which serves as the CATV TV signal output. CATV is a technology that allows you to transmit a TV signal and GPON network using a single optical fiber. The EG8147X6 terminal separates the TV signal from the PON, the subscriber can connect the TV to the ONT using coaxial cable. The frequency range of the RF port is 54 - 1000 MHz, and the output power is ≥17dBmV/Ch.
