Description

The TP-Link EAP613 is an access point designed to work under the control of the Omada system. It can transmit wireless networks according to the Wi-Fi 6 standard. It utilizes IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 574 Mbps in 2.4 GHz and 1201 Mbps in 5 GHz. The EAP613 can be managed through the Omada system, allowing for centralized management of multiple devices, including access points, switches, and routers. The offered product features a 1-gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mbps), which also serves as a Power over Ethernet (PoE) input (802.3at or passive 48V). Power can also be supplied using a standard DC socket (input voltage 12V, nominal current 1A). With the accessories included in the package, the device can be mounted on a wall or ceiling.

Wi-Fi 6 AX1800 wireless network

The access point can transmit wireless networks according to the Wi-Fi 6 standard. It utilizes IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax protocols in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 574 Mbps in 2.4 GHz and 867 Mbps in 5 GHz, respectively. By employing 1024 QAM modulation, the EAP613 achieves higher speeds than Wi-Fi 5 solutions, which are sufficient for most applications. The network is backward compatible with older standards, so you don't need to worry about your devices not being compatible with the EAP613.

High performance for more devices

The offered product utilizes OFDMA and MU-MIMO technologies, which are highly desirable if your network serves multiple users simultaneously. The first technology, OFDMA, enables the transmission of multiple data streams and doesn't block a particular channel for just one client. MU-MIMO allows simultaneous transmission and reception from multiple users, which mitigates data queuing. In many home networks, a plethora of devices are connected to Wi-Fi, including computers, phones, TVs, game consoles, printers, and various smart home appliances. The EAP613 ensures high network performance in any situation.

Omada platform

The TP-Link EAP613 is compatible with the Omada system. This platform enables centralized management of multiple devices, including access points, switches, and routers. It facilitates the maintenance of large networks and significantly saves administrator time. A hotspot created with the Omada system allows for extensive Wi-Fi coverage, user access management, reliable operation, and robust security. You can manage the system using a hardware controller, a PC-based software controller, or a cloud controller.

Auto channel selection and power adjustment

The device automatically selects the best transmission channel, choosing ones that are not currently occupied by other connections, thus avoiding interference. The transmit power is also automatically adjusted to ensure that individual access points do not interfere with each other.

Omada Mesh

The offered product supports Mesh technology, enabling communication with other wireless access points. You don't need to run Ethernet cables to each device, which significantly simplifies installation in many locations.

Optimized network performance

The Omada system optimizes connections between access points within the network. It ensures appropriate backhaul links so that Wi-Fi transmitted by individual devices is not of low quality. In case of failure of one access point, the system finds alternative connections to ensure the continued operation of the entire network.

Roaming

A network created under the control of the Omada system is seen under a single name. Regardless of the number of devices transmitting Wi-Fi, you don't need to manually switch between them. The Omada system automatically decides which access point you should be connected to at any given moment to have the best signal. During the transition between devices, the network will continue to operate seamlessly, and you won't experience significant drops in performance.

Small dimensions

The height of the housing is only 33.6 mm, ensuring that the device, when mounted on the ceiling, will not be conspicuous. This is important in many office spaces where you don't want the access point to stand out in terms of appearance.

Easy to mount

With the mounting brackets included in the package, you can mount the device on the wall or ceiling. Attach the mounting plate using screws, then align the device with it and twist it into place.
