The device can transmit a Wi-Fi 4 network, supporting IEEE 802.11 b/g/n protocols in the 2.4 GHz band. The maximum theoretical Wi-Fi throughput is 300 Mbps. The MR105 has 2 Fast Ethernet ports (10/100 Mbps), with the first one functioning as either WAN or LAN, and the second as LAN only. You can use the device as a standard router by connecting an internet signal via an Ethernet cable. In this configuration, the LTE connection can act as a backup, taking over in case the main connection fails. An additional advantage of the MR105 is its very simple operation—just insert a SIM card and the wireless network will be created immediately, without the need for initial configuration.
