The MikroTik wAP ax is a Wi-Fi 6 AX3000 access point. It utilizes 2x2 MIMO (dual-chain) technology and supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols on the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax on the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 574 Mbps on the 2.4 GHz band and 2402 Mbps on the 5 GHz band. The housing is fully adapted for outdoor use, and with the accessories included in the set, you can mount the access point on a wall, pole, or ceiling. Additionally, the included stand allows you to use the wAP ax as a regular desktop device. Inside the housing, there are integrated omnidirectional antennas with a gain of 2.5 dBi. The manufacturer has equipped the device with 2 gigabit Ethernet ports, with PoE+ power input on the first port. The device supports IEEE 802.3af/at standards, so it can be powered by a standard switch. The product comes with a pre-installed RouterOS v7 operating system with a Level 4 license.

This is the first device in the wAP series to support the Wi-Fi 6 standard, making it a natural solution for upgrading networks based on this series of access points. The device offers significantly better connection speeds compared to Wi-Fi 4 and Wi-Fi 5 solutions.
2 gigabit Ethernet ports, 2 power options
The device is equipped with 2 gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mbps), with the first port also serving as a PoE power input. The access point supports the PoE+ standard (802.3af/at), allowing it to be connected to a standard switch. Passive PoE is also supported, which is useful in locations where 24V power is used. Alternatively, the device can be powered via a DC jack, with an input voltage range of 12 - 57 V DC.
The package includes a 24V / 0.8A power adapter along with a gigabit PoE injector. The maximum power consumption of the device is 9W.
Designed for outdoor use, multiple mounting options
The wAP ax housing is fully adapted for outdoor use. Its internal components are protected against dust and water ingress, and the casing is made from UV-resistant plastic.
The device offers multiple mounting options; with the accessories included in the package, you can mount it on a wall, ceiling, or pole. A special stand is also provided, allowing you to use the wAP ax as a standard desktop router.
