MikroTik hAP ax S is a router that enables the creation of a Wi-Fi 6 wireless network. It supports the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 574 Mb/s in 2.4 GHz and 1803 Mb/s in 5 GHz. Such high speeds are possible thanks to the use of 3x3 MIMO in the 5 GHz band (standard routers support 2x2). The device stands out with its performance, featuring a dual-core ARM processor clocked at 950 MHz and 512 MB of RAM. The router comes with the RouterOS v7 system preinstalled with a level-4 license and supports advanced management functions such as VLANs, firewalling, VPN, and many, many others. The offered product is equipped with 5 gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s) and 1 SFP slot, which can operate at 2.5 Gb/s. Additionally, the first Ethernet port includes a PoE input, and the last one a PoE output. This allows you to easily connect an additional device, such as an access point, without the need for a power supply or switch. An additional advantage is the built-in USB port and high-gain antennas (5.5 dBi in 2.4 GHz / 8 dBi in 5 GHz).

Wi-Fi 6 AX2600
The device can transmit a Wi-Fi 6 wireless network and supports the IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 574 Mb/s in 2.4 GHz and 1803 Mb/s in 5 GHz. The manufacturer has implemented 2x2 MIMO (dual-chain) in the 2.4 GHz band and 3x3 MIMO (triple-chain) in the 5 GHz band. An additional advantage is the integrated high-gain antennas: 5.5 dBi (2.4 GHz) / 8 dBi (5 GHz). The router stands out with good throughput and a long Wi-Fi transmission range.
High performance, RouterOS Level 4
The router is equipped with a dual-core EN7562CT processor clocked at 950 MHz (ARM 32-bit architecture) and 512 MB of RAM. It stands out with high performance compared to competing solutions, especially considering its price. The RouterOS system offers very advanced management capabilities, including full VLAN support, firewall configuration, VPN tunnels, traffic shaping, and many, many more. The offered product is an excellent choice as the main router for a home network or a small office.


5 x 1G Ethernet ports, 1 SFP slot, PoE input and output
The MikroTik hAP ax S is equipped with 5 gigabit Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s) and 1 SFP slot (supporting 2.5 Gb/s). Using an optical module, you can connect a direct signal from the provider (in the case of FTTH connections) or use optical transmission to connect a high-bandwidth device, such as a NAS server. An additional advantage is the USB port located on the back of the case. The first Ethernet port features a PoE input (passive 18–28 V DC), and the last port has a PoE output. This allows you to connect and simultaneously power another device, such as an LHG if connected via radio or an SXT LTE if using mobile transmission.
Desktop-type casing
The offered product features a desktop-type casing, similar to those used in other devices from the hAP / hEX series. Power can be supplied via the DC socket (12–28 V) or passive PoE (18–28 V). The maximum power consumption of the device itself (without the PoE output) is 11 W.
