MikroTik LtAP-2HnD&FG621-EA is a new version of the LtAP LTE6 kit device. The product is equipped with a different LTE modem - FG621-EA, which stands out for its lower price compared to its predecessor while maintaining the same performance. It enables the aggregation of 2 LTE bands, allowing for a maximum theoretical throughput of 300 Mbps for data downloads and 50 Mbps for uploads. The device is also backward compatible with the 3G standard. LtAP is equipped with 3 SIM slots, which can be used for automatic roaming or, for example, connecting a backup card that you will use when abroad. Transmission is handled by 2 built-in LTE antennas, and you can use U.FL to connect external antennas to improve coverage.
The offered product also allows for the creation of a wireless Wi-Fi transmission in the 2.4 GHz band. It supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n protocols and 2x2 MIMO (dual-chain), with a maximum theoretical throughput of 300 Mbps. Power can be supplied in three ways: using PoE input (passive, 12 - 30 V DC), automotive connectors (12 - 27 V DC), or DC socket (12 - 30 V DC). The maximum power consumption of the device itself is 12 W. LtAP is equipped with 1 Gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mbps) and 2 miniPCI-e slots. The factory-installed LTE module is in the first slot, and the second slot can be used to connect an additional LTE module or, for example, a 5 GHz Wi-Fi radio.
LTE / 3G cellular transmission, GPS
The device has a built-in FG621-EA modem, which is responsible for mobile transmission. It supports LTE category 6 with the aggregation of two bands, with a maximum theoretical throughput of 300 Mbps for data downloads and 50 Mbps for uploads. The modem is backward compatible with the 3G standard, which is useful in particularly challenging locations.
The LtAP LTE6 features integrated LTE antennas, but inside the enclosure, you will find 2 U.FL connectors that allow for the connection of external antennas. The device supports GNSS (GPS / GLONAS / Galileo / Beidou) transmission, and you can also connect an external antenna to this module using an SMA connector.
Wi-Fi 4 N300 wireless network
The offered product can transmit a wireless Wi-Fi network in the 2.4 GHz band. It utilizes IEEE 802.11 b/g/n protocols and 2x2 MIMO (dual-chain), with a maximum theoretical throughput of 300 Mbps. This is a basic Wi-Fi connection, fully sufficient to utilize the capabilities provided by LTE category 6. All modern devices are compatible with the 802.11n protocol.
Gigabit Ethernet port, 3 SIM slots, 3 power inputs, 2 miniPCI-e slots
The LtAP LTE6 is equipped with 1 Gigabit Ethernet port (10/100/1000 Mbps) and 3 SIM slots. You can use cards from different operators to ensure backup transmission or, for example, use a foreign card that you switch to after crossing the border.
Power can be supplied using PoE (passive), automotive connectors, or the DC socket. The maximum power consumption is 24 W. An additional asset is the presence of 2 miniPCI-e slots, with the first slot already hosting the modem, and the second slot can be used according to your needs. You can install an additional LTE modem there or, for example, a 5 GHz Wi-Fi radio.
Perfect for logistics and tracking
The device will excel in transportation and logistics, distinguished by its compact dimensions (170 x 162 x 40 mm) and robust industrial enclosure. In every situation, you will find an appropriate power supply method, for instance, by utilizing the automotive connector.
You can use the LtAP LTE6 as an access point on a bus to provide Wi-Fi network access. Additionally, the built-in GNSS modem enables tracking of the vehicle's current location.
