MDIC / J-W(2ZN)H is a flat single-mode (SM) fiber optic cable with 2 fibers (1x2). It is used indoors and is intended for FTTH (Fiber to the Home) network installations. The cable features a reinforced construction that makes it resistant to deformation. Its insulation is easy to remove, which facilitates installation. It can be mounted either on the surface or embedded in the wall.
The cable uses ITU-T G.657A2 (SM) fiber and has an LSZH (Low Smoke Zero Halogen) outer sheath. Inside, it features a longitudinal reinforcing element, and the fiber dimensions are 2x3.1 mm.
Cable construction
The offered product is a flat cable with the fibers placed centrally inside, without an additional tube. It features two FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) rods on the sides that provide additional reinforcement and rigidity to the structure. You don't need to worry about damaging the cable during installation.
Indoor cable
The cable is designed for indoor use and features an LSZH sheath. It is ideal for new buildings where you need to deliver two fibers to each apartment.
2 fibers
ZW-NOTKSdp features 2 Singlemode fibers of type G.657.A2. This fiber is much more flexible than G.652.D but has higher attenuation. It performs very well in buildings where the cable is frequently bent sharply during installation. On the other hand, due to relatively short distances, the higher attenuation is not a significant issue.
500 m drum
The offered cable is wound on a plastic reel, with a length of 500 meters. The carton is designed to allow the cable to be unwound without opening the package. The product is characterized by its small size and light weight, making it easy to handle and transport.
