Shineway Tech palmOTDR M20AE is an optical reflectometer designed for multimode fibers, it works with 850/1300 nm bands. The dynamic power range is 21/24 dB, the built-in memory allows you to store 1000 measurements. The device allows you to locate errors, measure losses and reflections, detect splices, bends, ends of optical fibers and fiber length. The reflectometer is small, weighs only 1 kg and can be easily operated with one hand. The user interface is easy to use, the test results are displayed graphically. The device has a USB port for communication. Measurement files are saved in Bellcore (* .sor) format.
The offered model is an extended version, not a basic one. In addition, it has a visual fault locator (VFL), an optical power meter (OPM), a laser light source and an interface for connecting an optional MCI100 module (the module is used to check the condition of dirt and ferrule cracks).
The TraceManager program is also available for users to analyze and edit measurement files. It is possible to generate complete tests and prepare them for printing. User interface in English. The offered product is a necessary solution for installers working with multimode fibers.
