Opton PD-2  is an optical distribution box equipped with a frame for 6 SCDuplex or LC Quad adapters. The can is closed with a nut, it does not have a lock. It can be mounted on the wall or in the box using appropriate screws /pins. It is ideal for use inside the buildings in situations where there is no need to mount a large distribution box or there is no room for it. Using SC Duplex adapters, you can connect up to 12 subscribers, and using LC  Quad adapters even 24 (if enough splices can fit on the splice tray).

In the upper part of the housing, the frame has 2 holes for carrying the main cable, the subscriber cables are plugged directly into adapters that are led outwards. The box was made of 1 mm thick steel sheet, it was covered with Magnelis coating and powder painted in light gray RAL 7035. The splice tray is mounted on a dedicated screw (you need a tray with a centrally placed hole). Inside in the distribution box there are ribs to which cable  clamps can be attached.
