Opton DAC Z-XOTKtcdD is a underground fiber optic cable with 8 G.652.D fibers. The fibers are placed in one central tube with a diameter of 1.4 mm. The structure has been reinforced with two FRP rods with a diameter of 0.9 mm. The outer shell is made of high quality HDPE, its nominal thickness is 1.8 mm. The optical fiber is fully dielectric.
The cable is suitable for direct burial in the ground. Compare to the universal cables (eg. Aramide) it has much thicker reinforcing rods and a thicker outer shell. The diameter of the cable is about 6 mm and the weight is ~ 30 kg/ km.
Features:
- 8 G.652.D fibers;
- one centrally placed tube;
- underground cable;
- orange coating;
- the diameter approx. 6 mm;
- the pull force: up to 600 N (short-time 1200 N);
- 2 FRP rods with a diameter of 0.9 mm.
