The TP-Link TL-POE4824G passive PoE adapter is a device designed to power network devices that support the 48 V DC passive PoE standard. The design is equipped with two 10/100/1000 Mbps Ethernet ports, one of which functions as a data input, while the other serves as a data output combined with electrical power. The device provides a constant output voltage of 48 V at 0.5 A, which translates to a maximum output power of 24 W. The adapter is powered directly from the AC mains in the range of 100 to 240 V at 50/60 Hz. An integral part of the electronic circuit includes protections that safeguard connected components against the effects of surges, overloads, and short circuits. The device features a wall-mountable housing and a signal LED informing about the operational status. Power delivery is performed on wire pairs 4, 5 (+) and 7, 8 (-).
