The Uplink HG325AX30 is a versatile ONT client terminal designed for both GPON and EPON networks. It supports Wi-Fi 6, offering wireless protocols IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in the 5 GHz band. The maximum theoretical throughput is 867 Mb/s at 2.4 GHz and 2402 Mb/s at 5 GHz. Wi-Fi 6 introduces several beneficial features, including OFDMA, MU-MIMO (simultaneous data transmission and reception from multiple client devices), and modern WPA3 encryption. The terminal includes one 2.5G Ethernet port and three gigabit Ethernet ports, allowing you to fully utilize the GPON standard’s maximum throughput of 2.5 Gb/s and offer packages above 1 Gb/s. Additionally, it is equipped with one POTS (RJ11) port and one USB 3.0 port. The USB port enables connection of external storage to create a local file server. The device uses an SC/APC optical connector with a B+ / PX20+ laser, with a maximum reception sensitivity of -27 dBm. This product is suitable as a primary terminal for most subscribers, providing triple play services including internet, telephone, and IPTV.
EPON / GPON network
HG325AX30 is a universal ONT client terminal that supports both GPON and EPON networks. It features an SC/APC optical connector with a B+ laser (GPON) / PX20+ laser (EPON). The reception sensitivity is -27 dBm, and the transmission power is -3 dBm (EPON) / -8 dBm (GPON).
The connection bandwidth depends on the standard used: it is 1.25 / 1.25 Gb/s (downstream / upstream) for EPON transmission or 2.5 / 1.25 Gb/s for GPON transmission.
Wi-Fi 6 AX3000
The ONT terminal supports wireless transmission in Wi-Fi 6 standard. It supports IEEE 802.11 b/g/n/ax protocols in the 2.4 GHz band and IEEE 802.11 a/n/ac/ax in the 5 GHz band. The theoretical maximum throughput is 867 Mb/s in 2.4 GHz and 2402 Mb/s in 5 GHz.
In addition to higher throughput compared to Wi-Fi 5, the Wi-Fi 6 standard introduces many other useful features. These include the OFDMA protocol, MU-MIMO (which allows simultaneous transmission and reception of data from multiple users), and WPA3 encryption. The wireless network is visible under a single name (SSID), without separation into different frequency bands.

The HG325AX30 features 1 2.5G Ethernet port and 3 gigabit Ethernet ports. The ONT also includes a POTS (RJ11) port for connecting a standard analog phone, a useful feature for VoIP users. Usage
The Uplink HG325AX30 is suitable for most internet networks based on EPON/GPON technologies. A key feature is its support for both technologies, which is important if you currently have an EPON network but plan to transition to GPON in the future. The ONT terminal allows you to provide triple play services to subscribers, including internet, television, and telephone. An undeniable advantage is the use of a 2.5G Ethernet port, enabling your customers to take advantage of packages up to 2.5 Gb/s.
