QSFP28 transceiver

This device is a QSFP28 optical module, supporting bandwidths of up to 100 Gb/s. It is ideal for creating main connections between various locations or devices within a single building. It offers significantly higher speeds compared to QSFP+ (40G) or SFP+ (10G) standards.

Singlemode Fiber, Range up to 30 km

The offered product is compatible with fiber optic cables equipped with Singlemode fiber, enabling long transmission distances.

The 100GBASE-BX30-U modules feature an optical power range of 0 to 5.6 dBm and a reception sensitivity of up to -14.7 dBm. The maximum connection range is 30 km, allowing you to connect distant locations, including between towns.

LC/UPC connector

The module uses a standard LC/UPC connector.

WDM (BIDI)

The module transmits data using a single optical fiber, utilizing two different channels (Tx 1304.58 nm, Rx 1309.14 nm). This is particularly useful in locations where you have access to a limited number of fibers or are leasing fiber.

It is important to note that to establish a transmission, you will need a second module that transmits at 1309.14 nm and receives at 1304.58 nm. The corresponding device can be found in the "Related Products" section.

Wide Compatibility

Opton QSFP28 modules are factory-programmed for Cisco but can operate with devices from all manufacturers that do not block third-party modules. These include, for example, MikroTik, Ubiquiti, TP-Link, D-Link, and Planet.
