SFP28 Transceiver

Opton 25G-SM-BX40U-I is an SFP28 fiber optic transceiver supporting throughput of up to 25 Gb/s. It enables significantly higher connection speeds than standard SFP+ modules, making it ideal for interconnecting two locations or building infrastructure based on 25G.

Singlemode Fiber, Range up to 40 km

The offered product is compatible with fiber optic cables equipped with Singlemode fiber. This enables a long transmission range to be achieved.

The transceivers feature an optical power of 0 ~ 6 dBm and a receive sensitivity of up to -18 dBm. The maximum connection range is 40 km, making the modules suitable for interconnecting remote locations.

LC/UPC Connector

The transceiver features an LC/UPC connector.

WDM (BIDI) Transceivers

The transceiver provides transmission over a single optical fiber using two different channels - Tx 1270 nm and Rx 1310 nm. This allows you to reduce the number of fibers used, which is necessary in many locations.

To establish transmission on the other side, you need to connect a Tx 1310 nm / Rx 1270 nm transceiver, the appropriate module can be found in the related products below the specifications.

High Compatibility

Opton SFP28 modules are factory-programmed for Cisco, but they can work with devices from all manufacturers that do not use third-party transceiver locking. These include, for example: MikroTik, Ubiquiti, TP-Link, D-Link, and Planet.

For solutions where the manufacturer uses third-party transceiver locking (e.g. HP, Extreme Networks, Aruba), the SFP+ module can be programmed by our service department. If you have any doubts, you can contact us before purchasing.
