SFP + module supporting CWDM technology. It is equipped with two LC/UPC connectors, it uses a 1310 nm wave. It has a transmitting power of -2 ~ 4 dBm and a reception sensitivity of -15.8 dBm, thanks to which the theoretical transmission range is about 40 km. The actual range depends on damping, which introduces fiber optic cables, connectors and other network elements. The module uses the DDM technology for work monitoring. SFP + modules provide transmission of up to 10 Gbps bandwidth.
The CWDM technology enables the transmission of up to 18 channels to be combined. The channels are available from 1270 to 1610 nm with a spacing of 20 nm. The use of this type of transmission makes it possible to minimize the amount of fibers used, and thus reduce the costs associated with the fiber optic cable.
