This is a fiber optic switchboard which is adapted for fitting in 19" rack. It's 2 U high. The chassis is able to accomodate 4 modules (cassettes) where 48 welds can be stored together.  The modules' functions is being a tray for 12 welds and it also allows to hide the cable supply. The cassette can easily fit the PLC splitter in a steel box.  What is more, the deviced is equipped with a shelf that can be a cable organizer (the wiring can be fixed with the use of clamps, it is also possible to mount the additional plastic handles).

The switchboard has been made of powder coated steel of 1 mm thick. The modules have been made of ABS plastic. In the cassette there is a space for 12 SC Simplex adapters. The holes are covered by plug buttons.
