QSFP+ transceiver

The device is a QSFP+ transceiver. It supports a bandwidth of 40 Gb/s, perfect for many applications. QSFP+ is a standard widely used in larger switches, using the offered transceiver you can connect different network segments with high-speed transmission.

Singlemode fiber, range up to 40km

The offered product is compatible with fiber optic cables equipped with Singlemode fiber. Thanks to this, it is possible to achieve a large transmission range.

The 40G-SM-DF31-L40D transceiver has an TX optical power of -2.7 ~ 4.5 dBm and a reception sensitivity of -21.5 dBm. The maximum connection range is up to 40 km.

LC/UPC connectors

The transceiver has standard LC/UPC connectors.

Two connectors (dual-fiber / duplex)

The transceiver uses two optical connectors, you need to use two optical fibers to create a transmission. Transmitting (Tx) and receiving (Rx) signals are on separate connectors. When connecting the transceiver to each other, remember that the Tx from one module should be connected to the Rx from the other.

High compatibility

QSFP+ Opton modules have been factory programmed for Cisco, but they can work with devices from all manufacturers that do not use the blockade of foreign transceivers. These are, for example: MikroTik, Ubiquiti, TP-Link, D-Link or Planet.

In the case of solutions in which the manufacturer uses a blockade of foreign transceivers (e.g. HP, Extreme Networks, Aruba), it is possible to program the QSFP+ module by our service department. In case of doubt, you can contact us before purchasing.
