Description

Opton Signal Fire AI-6C+ is a fiber splicer suitable for use with SM, MM, DS and NZDS fibers. It uses core alignment, has an automatic oven for heating the sleeves. Typical welding time is 8 s and heating time is 18 s (whole cycle - 26 s). The splicer is equipped with a 5" TFT screen, some settings are available from the application for Android / iOS devices. There are 4 physical buttons under the display.

The offered product is equipped with a 5200 mAh battery, which is enough to perform 160 splices. In the set you will find a diamond knife (cutter), a flat cable stripper, a coating and cladding stripper, a power supply, a pair of spare electrodes, a bottle for alcohol and a brush. The splicer has a rubber housing that provides increased impact resistance and protects against dust penetration (IP52 protection). The whole set is enclosed in a handy case with dimensions of 380 x 175 x 275 mm.

Core alignment

The device provides core alignment, which greatly facilitates and speeds up work, and also ensures high-quality welds. The splicer has 6 motors that are used to center the fibers.

Universal holders, splicing time 8 s

The AI-6C+ has universal holders where you can place a pigtail, bare fiber or coated fiber. The splicer is compatible with Singlemode, Multimode, DS and NZDS fibers. Thanks to this, it is a universal tool that will be useful in any company dealing with the installation of fiber optic cables.

The splicing time is 8 s in standard mode. It is enough to connect a new subscriber.

Automatic heater, heating time 18 s

After closing the heater, the heating process of thesleeves starts automatically. You do not have to manually select the options, after the matter is done, just put the sleeve in the right place, and then the whole thing in the heater. The heating time is on average 18 seconds.

Protective case, 5200 mAh battery

The offered product has a rubber casing that increases impact and shock resistance. It also provides protection against dust penetration, at the level of IP52. Thanks to this, you do not have to be afraid of difficult working conditions.

The built-in battery has a capacity of 5200 mAh. Fully charged is enough to perform 160 splicing and heating cycles. Full charge time is 3 - 5 hours.

Possibility to charge the phone, built-in LED flashlight

On the side of the housing you will find a connector that allows you to charge your phone. An additional advantage is the built-in LED flashlight located on the front of the housing. It makes it easier to work in poor lighting conditions.

The composition of the kit

In the set, apart from the splicer, you will find a cutter with a diamond knife for optical fibers, a stripper for the flat cable sheath, a stripper for removing the coating and cladding from the fiber, an additional pair of electrodes, a container for alcohol, a brush and a power supply. The whole set is enclosed in a handy suitcase that facilitates transport. Its external dimension is 38 x 27.5 x 17.5 cm, and the weight is 4.7 kg. You can easily fit the AI-6C in the trunk of a passenger car. Due to the relatively low weight, the set is easy to carry.
