The cable is originally wound on a roll of 6 km - there is the possibility of rewinding (a smaller section of the cable on another roll), the cost of the rewinding (the drum is included): 25 €

YOFC Z-XOTKtmd is an optical fiber cable designed for installation in microducts. It is equipped with 48 G.652.D (single-mode) fibers placed in 4 tube. The tubes and fillers are twisted around a central strengthening element - an FRP rod, additionally, the whole structure has a circumferential reinforcement in the form of aramid fibers. The outer coating, 0.5 mm thick, is made of HDPE. The outer diameter of the cable is 5.4 mm, and it weighs 26 kg/km.

The offered product is designed for use in microducts. The outer coating is corrugated, allowing for cable blowing installation method. It is best to use Z-XOTKtmd with microducts of internal diameter 8 - 12 mm.

Cable construction

The cable is characterized by a multi-tube construction, with tubes and fillers twisted around a central strengthening element - an FRP rod. This design ensures that the cable is rigid, and the fibers do not move or shift under the influence of temperature.

The entire structure is further reinforced circumferentially with Kevlar (aramid) fibers to enhance tensile strength. Additionally, a ripcord is placed in the coating to facilitate its stripping.

Microduct

The offered product has a corrugated coating and is designed for installation in microducts using the blowing method. You can use it in microducts with an internal diameter of 8 - 12 mm.

Such a method of installation significantly speeds up the work process. Depending on the type, microducts can be used directly in the ground or in telecommunication ducts.

48 fibers (4 tubes, 2 fillers)

Z-XOTKtmd has 48 G.652.D single-mode fibers placed in 4 tube (12 fibers per tube). In addition, there are 2 fillers inside the coating. The outer diameter of the cable is 5.4 mm, and it weighs 26 kg/km.

The coating is made of durable HDPE, with a thickness of 0.5 mm. The cable is designed for outdoor installation, and its CPR class is Fca.

G.652.D (Singlemode) fiber

The fiber is equipped with G.652.D Single-mode fibers. This fiber is characterized by low attenuation, which is ≤ 0.35 dB/km for the 1310 nm wave and ≤ 0.21 dB/km for the 1550 nm wave. Such low losses have been achieved at the expense of less flexibility compared to G.657.A2/G.657.B3 type fibers.

Due to the above parameters, cables equipped with G.652.D fibers are best suited for main routes. In such applications, reduced flexibility is not a disadvantage, whereas for long-distance transmissions, the total attenuation will be significantly lower compared to other types of fibers.
