Description

The Opton FOSC-R-D-144 is a dome-type fiber optic closure designed for outdoor installation on poles or walls. It features 6 trays, each capable of holding up to 24 splices, providing a total capacity of 144 splices. In the lower part of the closure, there are 5 entries protected by cable glands with a diameter of 18 mm: 4 single entries and 1 double entry. The mounting bracket allows for installation on a pole (metal clamps included) or a wall (two holes for mounting screws, screws need to be purchased separately).

Thermo type inputs/outputs

In the closure, the entries are protected by cable glands with a diameter of 8 mm. These glands allow you to insert cables inside and then securely seal the openings to prevent the ingress of water or dust. The product offered has 4 single entries and 1 double entry, which can be used as both an entry and an exit for the main cable.

6 splice trays (max 144J)

Inside, you will find 6 splice trays, each capable of holding up to 24 sleeves, providing a total capacity of 144 fibers. Each tray can be tilted to access the others. Due to the large external dimensions of the closure, large trays have been employed, making them convenient to work with and providing space for excess cable.

Wall or pole mount installation

The closure features a universal bracket that enables two mounting options. Included in the package are 2 metal clamps for hanging it on a pole. Alternatively, you can mount the closure on a wall using two bolts (sold separately). The product is made of UV-resistant plastic. The gasket seals the interior against water and dust ingress, while cable entries and exits need to be secured independently. The height of the closure is 540 mm, and the diameter is 205 mm.
