Description

TP-Link XZ005-G6 is a client-side ONT (ONU) terminal that can operate in both GPON and EPON networks. It features a 2.5G Ethernet port, enabling full utilization of the bandwidth provided by GPON networks and thus allowing the offering of subscriber packages exceeding 1 Gb/s. The XZ005-G6 is a bridge-type terminal without router functionality; management access can be obtained through a graphical Web interface or via OMCI. The PON port uses an SC/APC connector with a Class B+ laser.

GPON/EPON ONT Terminal

The offered product is a universal ONT (ONU) terminal that can operate in both GPON and EPON networks. This allows you to unify the ONTs used in locations where different types of OLT terminals are deployed.

2.5G Ethernet Port

The device features one 2.5G Ethernet port, allowing it to provide internet access at significantly higher speeds than standard 1G ONTs. With this type of port, you can also fully leverage the capabilities offered by the GPON standard.

OMCI

The XZ005-G6 supports remote management from the OLT terminal using OMCI.

Application

The TP-Link XZ005-G6 is ideal for GPON networks where you want to offer subscribers packages exceeding 1 Gb/s. The use of a 2.5G Ethernet port allows you to provide higher speeds to customers without the need to rebuild the network or replace the OLT board/terminal.
