The Opton FDB-0424G-E is a fiber optic splice closure equipped with 4 entries for backbone cables and 24 outputs for client cables. The diameter of the linear holes is 9 mm, while the output size is 2 x 3 – 5 mm. The product is made of ABS plastic and polycarbonate, fully adapted for outdoor use, and features an IP65 protection rating. On the underside of the main tray, there are a total of 24 slots designated for splice installation. The holders are long and convenient to use; due to their height, if needed, you can mount splices in a stacked configuration, one on top of another, thereby increasing the capacity to 48. Additionally, inside the closure, there is a standard splice tray with 12 more slots.

Large Dimensions, Three Cable Slack Management Areas

The offered product stands out due to its dimensions—it is significantly larger than other closures in our range. This ensures comfortable working space and eliminates the need for tightly arranging each fiber. On both sides of the main tray, there are dedicated areas for coiling fiber or cable slack. Additionally, cable holders for storing backbone cable slack are located on the back of the closure.

Wall-Mount Installation, IP65 Protection Rating

The closure is made of polycarbonate and ABS plastic, fully adapted for outdoor use and featuring an IP65 protection rating. UV-resistant materials have been used, and a gasket protects the closure from water and dust ingress. Using the accessories included in the set, you can mount the product on a wall—mounting plugs are provided.
