EP8844 is an EPON OLT terminal equipped with 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports, 4 slots for SFP inserts (for uplink), 4 slots for SFP + inserts (for uplink), 8 PON slots (downlink) and management ports. The device is enclosed in a 1U Rack 19 "rack and can handle up to 512 client terminals at a split of 1:64. The maximum data transmission range is 20 km and the EPON bandwidth is 1.25 Gb/s.

The product offers many management functions. Allows monitoring and configuration of ports, as well as authentication of connected client terminals. Each of the client terminals can be remotely managed and configured.

The advantage of the offered product is small size and low price, as well as low power consumption - only 45 W. It is well-suited for FTTx solutions, especially FTTH. A useful feature are various types of uplink ports.
