Uplink GP16404 is an OLT terminal designed to work in a passive GPON fiber optic network. It has been equipped with 16 PON ports (SFP C+ class included) and 8 uplink ports - 4x gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mb/s) and 4x SFP+ (1/10 Gb/s). In addition, it also has management ports - 1x fast Ethernet (AUX), 1x USB 2.0 (AUX) and console ports: 1x RJ45 and 1x USB-C.

The terminal supports GPON transmission - the maximum split per port is 1x128, and the bandwidth is 2.5 Gb/s downlink and 1.25 Gb/s uplink. Management is done via the graphical web interface or the CLI command line. You can conveniently manage client terminals, create profiles and authenticate new clients. The device supports Layer 3 management, including routing and RIP / OSPF.

OLT is perfect for delivering FTTH triple play services - with internet, telephone and TV. It supports IGMP Snooping, you can successfully use it for IPTV multicast transmission.

GPON network

The offered product is a transmitting terminal designed for the passive fiber optic GPON network. You can connect up to 128 subscribers to one port using optical splitters (split is 1: 128). As a result, the GP16404 will support the total service of up to 2048 clients. The GPON transmission throughput is 2.5 Gb/s in the downlink and 1.25 Gb/s in the uplink.

Web UI

You can manage the terminal in a convenient way through the graphic interface available from a web browser. There you will find all the most important settings, including the configuration of uplink ports, VLANs, setting profiles and authorizing client terminals. There is no need to learn the CLI terminal! In addition to the basic functions, the software also provides management in the Layer 3, including routing, RIP and OSPF.

Triple play services: internet + IPTV + VoIP

By using this OLT terminal you can provide your customers with triple play services with Internet, TV and telephone. The device supports IGMP, you can use IPTV unicast or multicast transmission. GP16404 is distinguished by a very attractive price compared to large, modular OLT terminals. There are as many as 16 PON ports in the small housing, so you can handle multiple subscribers. Perfect for all locations where you do not need a large, modular terminal, e.g. in small towns.

The device is equipped with 16 PON slots and 16 SFP class C+ modules. As an uplink, you have as many as 8 ports - 4x gigabit Ethernet (10/100/1000 Mb/s) and 4 SFP+ slots (1/10 Gb/s). In addition, there are management ports - AUX: 1x fast Ethernet, 1x USB 2.0 and console: 1x RJ45 and 1x USB-C. The kit includes an RJ45 - RS232 console cable.

AC power, space for an additional power supply, low power consumption

The terminal is equipped with AC power and space for a second, additional power supply. Active cooling is used, air outlets are located at the rear. The housing has been adapted to the Rack 19" standard. The maximum power consumption is only 85 W, much less than in large OLT terminals.
