Huawei EG8040H6 is a client ONT terminal designed for use in GPON networks. It is a basic bridge-type device without NAT and features 4 gigabit Ethernet ports. The manufacturer has implemented an SC/APC optical connector with a B+ class laser, and the reception sensitivity is -27 dBm. The maximum supported transmission bandwidth, in line with the GPON standard, is 2.5 Gb/s for downloading data and 1.25 Gb/s for uploading.
