Description

The Uplink V1600GS-ZF is a GPON OLT terminal equipped with 1 PON port. According to the standard, it supports a maximum split of 1:128, with a bandwidth of 2.5 Gb/s downstream to clients and 1.25 Gb/s upstream from clients. The device features an integrated PON port, so no additional transceiver is required; it offers a transmit power of 7.5 dBm and a receive sensitivity of up to –32 dBm. The V1600GS-ZF is based on a ZTE chipset, different from the one used in the popular GP1202. This OLT is ideal for locations where few subscribers are expected and no further network expansion is planned; 1-port terminals are also successfully used in large hotel and retail networks. The V1600GS-ZF stands out for its highly attractive price, making subscriber connection costs very low. For uplink ports, it features 2× 1G Ethernet ports and 1× SFP+ slot (10 Gb/s). The terminal supports management via a graphical Web interface, terminal access, or NSM, and also supports SNMP. The V1600GS-ZF has two integrated power supplies: one AC (100–240 V AC input) and one 12 V DC (2 A). The device comes in a compact desktop-type enclosure.

GPON OLT Terminal

The offered product is an OLT terminal designed for use in GPON networks. It is a transmitting device that allows you to send data to subscribers. According to the standard, the bandwidth per port is 2.5 Gb/s downstream to the client and 1.25 Gb/s upstream from the client. The maximum split per port is 1:128.

1 PON Port

The V1600GS-ZF has 1 PON port, allowing you to connect up to 128 subscribers to the terminal. The manufacturer has used an integrated SC/UPC-type port, so there is no need to purchase a separate SFP module. The transmit power is approximately 7.5 dBm, and the receive sensitivity is up to –32 dBm.

1 SFP+ Slot, 2× 1G Ethernet Ports

The terminal is equipped with a total of three uplink ports: 1 SFP+ slot (10 Gb/s) and 2× 1G Ethernet ports (10/100/1000 Mb/s). The optical port is ideal for use when the device is located in a remote location that needs to be connected via fiber optic cable.

Web Management

The Uplink V1600GS-ZF allows management via a graphical Web interface or command line and also supports SNMP. Thanks to the graphical interface, it will be appreciated by operators who are just starting out with passive fiber optic networks. Due to its simple configuration, the V1600GS-ZF is also an excellent solution for various types of large-scale indoor networks, such as in hotels. The OLT enables the provision of triple-play services, including internet, IPTV, and telephone.

Two Power Supplies

An additional advantage is the presence of two integrated power supplies. You can use either the AC input (100–240 V AC) or the DC input (12 V DC / 2 A). The AC power supply has a standard computer connector, and the appropriate cable is included in the set. The DC power supply features a 2.1 / 5.5 mm socket.
