YOFC Z-XOTKtcdp is a flat optical fiber cable designed for aerial installation. It is equipped with 12 G.657.A1 (single-mode) fibers and features a single-tube construction. Two FRP rods, each with a diameter of 1.8 mm, serve as the main reinforcing elements. The tensile strength is 1.3 kN, and the maximum span in aerial installation is as follows: for NESC Light conditions - 85 m, for NESC Medium - 45 m, and for NESC Heavy - 20 m. The external dimensions of the cable are 8.1 x 4.1 mm, and it weighs 32 kg/km.

The offered product is designed for use in aerial installations. It combines high strength with an attractive price point. Thanks to its single-tube construction, the cable is easy and quick to work with.

Cable Construction

The cable features a single-tube construction and is reinforced with two strengthening elements - FRP rods with a diameter of 1.8 mm each. The optical fiber is rigid, durable, and easy to install.

Z-XOTKtcdp is a flat cable that requires different types of fixtures than regular round cables. In exchange, it provides very high strength while maintaining an attractive price.

Aerial Installation

The offered product is primarily designed for aerial installations. The maximum tensile strength is 1.3 kN, and the maximum span is as follows:

  • NESC Light: 85 m
  • NESC Medium: 45 m
  • NESC Heavy: 20 m

12 fibers

Z-XOTKtcdp features 12 single-mode fibers of the G.652.D type arranged in a single tube. The external dimensions of the cable are 8.1 x 4.1 mm, and it weighs 70 kg/km.

The cable jacket is made of durable PE with a thickness of 0.8 mm. The cable is designed for outdoor installation, and its CPR (Construction Products Regulation) class is Fca.

G.657.A1 (Singlemode) fiber

The optical fiber is equipped with G.657.A1 single-mode fibers. This type of fiber has slightly higher attenuation than G.652.D but offers greater flexibility in return. This is beneficial when creating large cable reserves with connectors, as you don't have to worry about introducing significant additional attenuation.

The use of the G.657.A1 fiber emphasizes the versatility of the Z-XOTKtcdp cable. It will prove itself in various situations and in different types of networks.
